Hurd is our signature yarn crafted from Tunis wool raised just three miles from our studio and milled in upstate NY. A versatile wool, it is suitable for all fiber techniques from knitting, crocheting and weaving.

Here are a couple examples of how Hurd knits. The first is a lovely scarf/shawl (photo in which Bri is wearing a blue button down shirt). It is a free Ravelry pattern called "May I Borrow this Please ?" by Lorraine Waitman. I loved a story she told about how her friend would borrow her scarves/shawls but never return them, and and so she came up with this pattern.

The second example, is a larger woven shawl that is warm and cozy.
